Is Cosmetic Gynaecology Safe?


Cosmetic gynaecology procedures are supported by a substantial body of peer-reviewed clinical literature. As with any procedure, risks and complications exist and will be discussed in full by Mr Daniels at your consultation before any decision to proceed. Non-surgical Fotona laser treatments carry significantly lower risks than surgical procedures and require no anaesthetic or recovery time.


Recovery After Cosmetic Gynaecology


Recovery varies depending on the . All surgical procedures at Centre for Surgery are performed as day cases — you go home the same day.


After labiaplasty or clitoral hood reduction, mild swelling and discomfort are normal for the first few days. Avoid tight clothing, sexual intercourse, and tampon use for six weeks. Most patients return to desk-based work within five to seven days. Avoid strenuous exercise for four to six weeks.


After vaginoplasty or perineoplasty, recovery is slightly longer. Avoid sexual for a minimum of six weeks. Full healing of the deeper tissues takes approximately three months. A surgeon review with Mr Daniels is included at six weeks.


Fotona laser treatments require no downtime — normal activities can be resumed . Avoid sexual activity for 72 hours after each session.
